HTC also brought along a Sprint-branded arrive to our reader meetup of San Francisco, and while we're already familiar with this slider Windows Phone 7 of our time with the HTC 7 Pro are it's still nice to see a CDMA WP7 device in the flesh. Oh, and the keyboard is pretty fantastic--not only does it feel great, but the dedicated number row alone is reason for keyboard fans to this thing a look. The best part? The demo unit was loaded with the Windows Phone 7 copy and paste update, which is the first time we have seen in the wild. The system worked well, but we have noticed that you once you have your text from the Clipboard paste is gone, so you can not multiple paste. It is a bit odd--we have a video up soon.
Update: The video is up--check it below!
Update 2: Okay, so you can multiple paste! The paste icon disappears just after the first pasta, which is super confusing. You can just swipe to the right to restore it, though. We would suggest Microsoft denounce this implementation a bit of an update, because it was not obvious to everyone here at first glance.

iPod touch now includes built-in Nike + iPod support.
Tune Your Run
iPod touch now includes built-in Nike + iPod support. Just slip the Nike + iPod Sensor (available separately) into your Nike+ shoe and start your run. The sensor communicates wirelessly with your iPod touch, tracking your time, distance, and calories burned. It even gives you voice feedback on your progress.
Tune Your Cardio Workout
This feature also works with new cardio equipment available in many fitness centers. Just look for treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, and stationary bikes that are Nike + iPod compatible.
Sync with Nikeplus.com
When you get back to your computer, sync your iPod touch via iTunes and transfer your exercise data to nikeplus.com, where you can track your workouts, set goals, and challenge friends.
Glide, Flick, Pinch
Built to take full advantage of the large 3.5-inch display, the Multi-Touch touchscreen interface lets you control everything using only your fingers. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flick through photos and enlarge them with a pinch, zoom in and out on a section of a web page, and control game elements precisely.
How it Works
The Multi-Touch display layers a protective shield over a capacitive panel that senses your touch using electrical fields. It then transmits that information to the LCD screen below it. iPod touch software enables the flick, tap, and pinch.
Type with the Touchscreen Keyboard
iPod touch features an intelligent touchscreen keyboard perfect for browsing the web in Safari, getting directions on a map, searching for videos on YouTube, finding music on the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, or adding new contacts. It analyzes keystrokes to suggest words as you type and correct spelling errors automatically. And because it's software based, it changes its keys to support typing in multiple languages.
iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks.
iPod touch responds to motion using a built-in accelerometer.Responds to Movement
iPod touch detects when you rotate it from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display. So you immediately see the entire width of a web page, view a photo in its proper aspect ratio, or control a game using only your movements.
How it Works
The accelerometer inside iPod touch uses three elements: a silicon mass, a set of silicon springs, and an electrical current. The silicon springs measure the position of the silicon mass using the electrical current. Rotating iPod touch causes a fluctuation in the electrical current passing through the silicon springs. The accelerometer registers these fluctuations and tells iPod touch to adjust the display accordingly.
Perfect for Gaming
Accelerometer technology really shines when you play games because it immerses you in the action. It's perfect for racing games--where your entire iPod touch acts as a steering wheel--and for tap-and-tilt games like Super Monkey Ball, in which your character responds to your every movement.
Connect Automatically
iPod touch locates nearby wireless hotspots, including protected networks. If you've never used a particular network, it asks you to enter a password the first time, and it remembers the password from then on. So the next time you're within range, it connects automatically.
Surf's Up
Now you can send email from a coffee shop. Surf the web at the airport. Shop for games from your couch. Browse, buy, and download music from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store at select Starbucks locations or other wireless hotspots in your area.

Apple Rumors game can a fleeting thing. Just as we had heard about last-minute changes to the Apple TV before it hit the market, we've gotten word from sources that the iPad 2 slated to be announced next Wednesday will be sans a couple of the features that we had previously reported. In particular, that SD card slot and the higher resolution display will not make it to the new model (the last we hearing rumblings about for a while had). What is the cause of the switch? Our sources were not properly crystal clear on the exact reasons, but the essence of what was explained to us centered around vague "engineering issues" that could have forced some changes at the last. It's worth noting again that these sources death right to specific Apple plans and specifications for unannounced products have been in the past, and we have no reason to believe that these changes are due to anything more than legitimate engineering decisions close to the launch.
So what we will see on 2 March? We hear that it is very likely a thinner, spec-bumped variation of the original iPad with a screen size and resolution identical to the current model. More RAM (512 MB) and a more powerful CPU (A5) also be expected. It is also a pretty safe bet that the tablet will be sporting at least one camera in the front--although if some of these case mockups we've seen tell us something, a shooter around back to expect. It also almost guaranteed that the next version of iOS (number 5 in all probability, along with the SDK for developers), and an extension of Apple's cloud services see (that part is a bit ... foggy right now). Of course, that will be perfect set of Apple announcement of the iPhone 5 in June, which is when iPad owners probably expect to be using the new software. Anyway, we have the goods come next week, so stay tuned!

Manufacturer Description
Are you looking for a real digital SLR that’s easy to use? Do you want mobility without sacrificing capability? Would you like simple operation and enough features to step forward creatively? If so, then get to know the Nikon D60. Now you can experience the best of both worlds: enjoy one-button simplicity with Auto, or try many exciting levels of creative control. There is room for everyone to explore the thrill and magic of photography. Have fun, and don’t worry -- it’s a Nikon.
Built on 90 years of optical expertise and decades of award-winning camera designs, the Nikon family of cameras covers every type of picture-taker -- from s
easoned professionals to travelers on vacation. The D60 is the latest example of Nikon innovation, transforming complex technology into a fun, powerful and easy-to-use camera. Nikon delivers the cutting-edge technologies you would expect from a digital SLR -- fast response, creative versatility, and breathtaking image quality -- while eliminating complications and frustrations so that taking pictures is enjoyable and stress-free. With 10.2 megapixels, the D60’s image sensor delivers high-resolution pictures with rich, faithful color and detail that are ready for stunning enlargements. It also gives you the freedom to crop pictures exactly as you want them. And with Nikon’s 3D Color Matrix Metering II, you can expect beautifully exposed pictures under almost any lighting condition, with Nikon’s original digital image processing concept, EXPEED, comprehensively optimizing your pictures, shot after shot.
Nikon D60 Digital SLR Highlights
Nikon Integrated Dust Reduction System Dust in front of your camera sensor can mean distracting spots on your pictures. That’s why Nikon does everything to ensure clear pictures, including minimizing the build-up and appearance of dust. Nikon’s exclusive Airflow Control System is one of the two main protections against dust. It leads air within the mirror box towards small ducts near the base, preventing internal dust from settling in front of the image sensor. The D60’s second form of defense is the Imaging Sensor Cleaning function, which was originally built for the D300. Every time you turn the camera on or off, this function uses vibrations to steer dust away from the optical low-pass filter in front of the sensor (deactivation and manual activation are also possible). Nikon engineers have also dealt with dust and other tiny
particles in many other ways to prevent such image degrading material from attaching to the filter or being seen by the sensor when you are taking pictures. With all these measures in place, you can concentrate on getting the shot while exploring the wide array of Nikkor interchangeable lenses that a Nikon digital SLR opens up to you.
Rich, Smooth Detail with Active D-Lighting Sometimes, even a perfectly exposed scene will not render an ideal photograph. With difficult lighting conditions, important details can be lost in the highlights and shadows. But with Nikon’s Active D-Lighting, the D60 can correct these exposure issues instantly and automatically, while you shoot. Simply set Active D-Lighting before you start shooting. Active D-Lighting is available when "Matrix" is selected for metering.
Eye Sensor The Eye Sensor activates every time you look through the viewfinder, turning off the information display on the LCD for comfortable shooting.
Compact, Light and Comfortable The D60 is compact, light and ready to go wherever life takes you. The D60’s size is not the only factor to consider; its shape is ergonomically designed to fit in your hand naturally and comfortably. Nikon’s experienced engineers know that operating a camera shouldn’t distract you. That’s why each button and texture on the camera’s exterior has been carefully considered for the most efficient and fluid operation possible.
The D60’s bright, clear optical viewfinder is also designed with the user in mind, its helpful indicators and intuitive icons helping you achieve ideal composition with the optimal settings.
Nikon’s Intelligent Built-in Flash -- Simply Brilliant Proper flash lighting used to require skill, time and patience. With the D60, however, flash photography is simple, instant and accurate. Thanks to Nikon’s cutting-edge i-TTL flash technology, all the complicated calculations happen automatically, giving you balanced flash illumination under almost any conditions, even difficult lighting situations such as backlit subjects. With Auto mode, you just point, shoot and let the camera do the rest. It’s that simple.
Display Format Options The information display in the 2.5-inch LCD monitor lets you check essential camera information quickly and easily. Choose whatever display format fits your taste best: each of the Graphic and Classic formats have three color variations to suit your preferences, while Wallpaper uses one of your own pictures as the background. Graphic format uses visual displays to show shutter speed and aperture, as well as the mode dial every time you turn it to a new setting. The D60 even recognizes whether you are holding the camera horizontally or vertically, and then automatically displays camera information on the LCD monitor accordingly.
Intuitive Menu Navigation The D60 lets you alter settings and functions in many ways. For all the choices it offers, the menu is still amazingly simple and intuitive, with navigation made easy thanks to a carefully considered design. If you are ever unsure about a specific feature or function, simply press the O button for detailed information. It’s like having an onboard instructor to answer your questions. The D60’s convenient assist images help you select appropriate camera settings. These useful reference images help explain the effect that each function has on your photos -- very helpful for exploring new features and making the most of the camera.
Creative shooting is just a quick turn away With the D60, you will always be prepared to shoot a wide variety of subject matter. Just turn the mode dial to fit your shooting situation and beautiful results are yours instantly.
Quick responses, captured moments Amazing moments can pass by quickly, but the D60’s fast 0.19-second startup, split-second shooting time lag and fast, accurate autofocus capture more of these moments with precision. The camera’s high-speed continuous shooting also helps capture fast-moving action at up to 3 pictures per second for as many as 100 (JPEG) pictures.
A wide variety of in-camera Retouch Menus Even after a picture is taken, the D60 offers ways to explore your creativity further. With a wide range of options to choose from, the quick, simple and extensive Retouch Menu allows you to create a duplicate image with amazing photo effects, leaving the original picture intact. And it’s all done in-camera -- without the need for a computer.
The right touch -- Quick Retouch Sometimes you want to make sure that your picture has the best balance of contrast and saturation. For this, choose the Quick Retouch feature. It creates an automatically retouched copy that has been optimized for better-looking pictures.
Original animation -- Stop-motion Movie Want more fun out of digital photography? Try making a stop-motion movie from a series of consecutive pictures. Simply select the first and last frames from a sequence of shots. You can easily re-edit before saving it as a movie by changing the starting image or removing specific images. There are also several size and frame rates to choose from.
Expect much more from your pictures -- In-camera NEF (RAW) Processing Nikon’s NEF (RAW) format lets you enjoy an incredible amount of creative freedom and control over camera settings -- even after the actual shot is taken. If time is tight or you are unsure of which setting to use, it’s even possible to shoot first with NEF (RAW) and make adjustments later. That’s right: you can take pictures, and then change the image quality, image size, white balance or even exposure compensation. All operations are quick, simple and do not require a computer.
Explore further -- Filter Effects The D60’s Filter Effects let you experiment with color and light. Each of the Red/Green/Blue Intensifier effects let you enhance the color of your choice. Try the Cross Screen feature to create starbursts radiating from scene highlights. For other options, use Color Balance to modify the entire image, or experiment with Skylight and Warm Filters.

Easy to learn
I received the camera Nikon D60 a day before my Bright angel hike to the Grand canyon. I have previously own a SLR however this is my first Digital SLR. Though I was still experimenting during my tedious hike, i was able to take beautiful pictures. I love the quality of the pictures, the features of the camera enable me to retouch my photo, especially while I am experimenting my camera.
There is only one thing that I wasn't satisfied with the sale deal. The battery charger came in the voltage of 110V, that means that I may not be able to use when I am travelling to some places in Asia. I thought that all cameras charger should come with dual voltages. That means the camera can be use world wide I was not able to source the dual voltage charger here, can anyone help me with that.

NIKON D60 EXCELLENT CAMERA
I found the Nikon D60 to be an excellent camera and easy to use. I am only a pedestrian photographer but this camera is cool and has the Nikon click when you press the shutter release which is satisfying.
Awesome Camera Very Recomended!
Actually I won't be talking again about the specification because all of you already know it. The D60 is my first DSLR camera I'm actually wasn't into photography that much, I just bought it because i asked a friend i want to take a quality pictures for my family because i had a regular annoying Casio camera which makes dots/noise in the pictures and ruins the moment of the photo, Any way he told me do you want the same photography as you see in the magazines or billboards i said yes i actually thought that all those pictures was like impossible and you need like i dunno graphic designer to do the work for you to make it so clean and sharp as they look and MAN I WAS WRONG..
1st day i bought this camera i took my 1st shot and i was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW i never had a DSLR camera before i hate taking pictures but with this camera the first week i took over 13,000 pictures can you believe that awesome camera awesome quality and the help menu tought me a lot about photography i didn't even know anything about photography like what is ISO, Exposure etc.. it kept explaining everything in the menu and I'm here now buying the new D90 waiting for this babe to arrive.
Nikon makes the photography impossible to resist everyone this camera is worth every penny now i watch videos on You Tube and trying to learn and I'm buying bunch of lenses which costs me over $5000, it's hilarious actually, but i loved photography i keep taking shots for everything and i have like 700 GB hard disk full of pictures shot with my D60.

Almost every big name tablet which currently ships or is expected to dispatch one of these days have arm based processors of low power. If this means that Intel has no role to play in the Tablet space? The company is governed by Atom Processors in netbook, but the truth is that Intel has no significant presence in the tablet. Whereas, however, does not mean that Intel gave up.
The chipmaker is very fond of making his presence felt in the Tablet and is currently working with a number of manufacturers of tablet PC.
DigiTimes reports that Intel will be showcasing a number of tablet PC to Intel Developer Forum in Beijing next month. Most of these machines are being built by Taiwan's Compal and Inventec OEMm as.
Intel chips can run operating systems like Windows, MeeGo Linux and Google Android. But if my memory is correct, none of the Android tablets on the market have Intel processors. Windows-based Tablet, however, encourage Intel chip ARM processors, because you cannot run Windows. Now that Microsoft has announced a version of Windows for ARM-based processors, Intel cannot help feeling the heat.

We've all been there, cruising by some news in a browser only to think "Man, I don't have time for this whole article." At that point you have two options: type "tl; Dr. "in the article comments and smug continue with your life, or call on one of the many services that let you cache content for later perusal. Read it Later Pro is one of the more popular and, with support for a flurry of platforms, makes it easy to start reading one thing in one place and later retrieval that thing on a different place. With the release of an Android version you now have even more places at your disposal. We pulled this new addition, $ 99 from the Android market and gave it a spin.
The idea is very simple, similar to instapaper and such. In fact, Google's own Chrome phone functionality has much the same concept: you read something in the Web browser of your computer, want to finish on your phone so that you have a tangling and it appears on your handset. But, read it Later Pro is more extensive than that of course you want to read links later, but the app will proactively download text and images, so you that content on a plane in the air or a train in a tunnel can read.
On the app you'll be presented with options or text and graphics or text only needs to be downloaded, or indeed anything at all if you complete and total confidence in your data connection. You can also choose whether or not the integrated browser itself referred to as mobile or desktop--handy for those who like scrolling. Unfortunately we could not get videos and other Flash content to display within the app, but that's not much of a surprise considering the app is called Read it Later, Watch it Later.
There are plug-ins and smart bookmarks that can be added to just about every desktop browser in existence, making it just a click or two for you to add content to your list. Read it Later has been added to the share menu, which means that you can quickly add content from your mobile browser or a bunch of other apps on Android. Once added, we found it takes around five to 10 seconds for a new link appears in the app itself, and maybe so long again the content depending on the size of the item to download. You can also apply tags to entries for filtering purposes and of course mark as read to clear them from.
Ultimately it is a convenient app. "article default view" does a good job of simplifying content for readability on smaller screens, and that you can send as many things as you want and they want to read when you but is definitely fun. Ground-breaking revolution in mobile reading? Neu Worth. 99? Sure--if you read things.

It happens one every notebook computer - at least once in life, it will slow down in performance, and just don't have the get up and go to use. As most people do you ensure your preferred antivirus programs that "Bugs" have infected your system, and even run spyware programs, to ensure that spyware is not your system resources overload. Things go one step further, the clear out unnecessary items your Start menu, adjust BIOS and get rid of the old, you have used programs in a while.
After all, that your laptop is still running slowly and see - it's time for an upgrade.
Once upon a time, were laptop and notebook upgrades 'only technicians' activities due to the fact that most notebook manufacturers have proprietary technologies into your systems. This is still true to some extent, but the main hardware components, slow system performance in most laptops are those who have become pretty much industry standard.
These are:
Hard drive memory processorThese components can be easily replaced in most laptops. The first thing to do is to determine whether the upgrade value costs. Check online prices to see how much it will cost. If I pay $120 for a hard drive, $50 for storage and $150 for a new processor, you may not want to do all three upgrades can only would first select 1, and then verify the system performance.
If you want the new 13-inch MacBook Pro Core i7 CPU to Turbo Boost his road north of that standard 2.7 GHz clock speed was expecting, guess we can stop your anticipation. Two separate reviews of the laptop are reporting the curious case of her Core i7-2620M processor overclocking itself does not automatically the way it should. Intel's dual-core chip is capable of a maximum speed of 3.4 GHz, but reviewers were not able to get it higher than the stock setting during test Apple's latest 13-incher. High temperatures were identified (North of 90 C/194F) as the likely culprit, with Notebook Journal also found are throttled down to 798 MHz due to heat dissipation heat issues machine. PC Pro theory that Apple is the Turbo Boost functionality on this MBP model in order to keep your lap and your pride of being scalded by components melt intentionally disabled. That would make sense for us, and hey, it's still a fast machine, just don't Turbo fast.
Update: AnandTech the findings are inconsistent with the above, with Anand claim that "there is absolutely no funny business going on here, the dual-core 2.7 is allowed to hit its maximum frequencies. It seems that we have to keep digging to get to the bottom of this.
Update 2: We have confirmed with Apple, there are no specific limits for hardware or software to block the Turbo Boost feature, but we have also discovered, by less direct sources, that the company offers new low level software tools to cool configuration issues with the 2011 batch of laptops. Ergo, the speed limits that PC Pro and Notebook Journal encountered are caused by inadequate heat dissipation, which arguably is no less than an Apple command de-Turbo-restering disturbing.
