Samsung has introduced a new 'sliding Tablet' Compter at CES yesterday. Although Samsung says that its Tablet created a new category of mobile PC, it is that based on the same concept used in pad slider Asus Eee recently introduced. The difference is that Asus Eee pad Android, running, while the Samsung sliding tablet running Windows 7 is running.

The Samsung sliding Tablet has a 10.1 inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is powered by a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor. The Tablet runs the launcher for the Samsung touch up on Windows 7 Home Premium. Other specifications include 2 GB DDR2 memory and 32 GB or 64 GB SSD.
The Tablet has a HDMI output, USB 2.0 port, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 3 g and optional 4 G WiMAX. There is a 6-cell battery which can supposedly power the device for 9 hours on a single charge power.
The slide-out keyboard which has 81 key, is way behind the computer if it is not in use. There is an ambient light sensor. The Samsung sliding Tablet is the March for $699 and up.
