The folks at Netbook Live have reviewed AMD powered Asus Eee PC 1215B. The Eee PC 1215B is the first ultraportable notebook from Asus to ship with a AMD Fusion. Is available with single-core AMD C-30 or the options processor E-350 or dual-core C-50. All three configuration comes standard with AMD Radeon HD graphics capable of handling 1080p video playback.

The model that has been reviewed by Netbook Live has a dual core processor and AMD Radeon-350, 6310, 4 GB of DDR3 memory and a 320 GB hard drive. Runs with operating system Windows 7 Home Premium.

The notebook weighs 3. 2 pounds. In terms of design is not everything that is different from other ultraportable notebook from Asus. What is new is the chip. The AMD and 350 Zacate has a total power draw of 18W. While it is significantly more powerful than a dual-core Atom, what makes it interesting is that it comes bundled with powerful Radeon can handle HD video.In graphics benchmark scores of notebooks really well.

The reviewer also reports that there is no problem of heating. The laptop is also reasonably quiet and gets about 5 hours of battery life. Not bad for an AMD-powered machine.
